Appropriate Body Services
Manor Teaching School Hub provides Appropriate Body services for all Early Career Teachers (ECTs) undertaking their two-year statutory induction programme. Manor Appropriate Body works in partnership with schools in Wolverhampton, Walsall and South Staffordshire to support ECTs, Induction Tutors and Headteachers throughout the induction period. This includes assuring that ECTs receive their full statutory induction entitlements, reviewing termly progress reviews and end-of-year formal assessments submitted by Induction Tutors or Headteachers. In addition, Manor Teaching School Hub quality assures that each ECT’s induction programme is appropriately designed and firmly rooted in the Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework (ITTECF).

Our Appropriate Body Services:
To register a new ECT with us, schools are required to complete the following three-step registration process:
STEP 1: Complete Manor TSH Internal Registration Form
STEP 2: Register and complete the DfE registration form: Manage training for early career teachers this secures your school funding*
STEP 3: Register with Manor TSH for Appropriate Body on ECT Manager
When a school registers an ECT with us, they will be issued with a copy of our Service Level Agreement. This agreement must be accepted in order for us to process the registration. A copy of the agreement is available by clicking here and should be read in conjunction with our Appropriate Body Handbook.

AB Escalation Policy
Schools choosing to follow the Core Induction Programme, or a School-Based Induction Programme, will require the Appropriate Body to conduct fidelity checks in the school to ensure that Early Career Teachers are receiving a programme of support and training based on the Early Career Framework. This is not required for schools who follow the Full Induction Programme with a Lead Provider and Teaching School Hub. Our Early Career Framework page provides further information on each option for how your school could provide the ECF.
